Purple’s patented grid is what differentiated its products from competitors. Purple developed a sample of its grid in a mattress shape that could be sent to customers as a sample before they decided to buy. 

My task was to brand the “Squishy” in a unique way that explained the sample to the customer while also supporting the social campaign that would accompany the launch. 

I decided on a matchbox design that made the Squishy a real “surprise and delight” moment for customers. I also used Purple’s new branding to create a pamphlet that was stylistic and informative so customers were ready to take the next step and enter a world of slumber-tude. 

This was an interesting project as the window for delivery was just a few days so I kept it simple, but was also able to see the production from concept to print and even wrote the headlines.
